Rand Show Brings the Vibe to the SANDF Charity Golf Day

Johannesburg, 10 November 2025 — The Rand Show proudly participated as a Gold Sponsor at the SANDF Charity Golf Day, held on Friday at the Services Golf Club in Thaba Tshwane.

The event brought together top corporate sponsors and key stakeholders for a day of networking, camaraderie, and fundraising — and true to form, The Rand Show team brought the energy, excitement, and signature vibe that we’re known for.
“Despite some competitors having fancier setups, our fun, interactive watering hole stole the show — earning us the award for Best Watering Hole! The Rand Show stand proved that creativity and good humour go a long way,” says Lynn Chamier, Exhibition Director, Rand Show.

Adding to the excitement, Craig Newman, Group CEO of G L Events and his golf partner Ashley Govender, Business Development Manager of Macrocomm, showed their skill on the course by winning the Best Distance Measure award.

Guests at the event were treated to great giveaways, including a lucky draw prize of a bottle of Hennessy Cognac and eight complimentary tickets to The Rand Show 2026, valued at R1,700.

Our always-popular mascot, Lenny the Lion, was a hit with the crowd – spreading smiles, posing for photos, and keeping the fun alive throughout the day.
