As the frenzy and fun of the 2019 Rand Show dies down, visitors from across the city are still basking in the rosy afterglow of one the most jam-packed and exciting shows to date. From completely new entertainment offering such as the high-tech Gaming Entertainment Pavilion to show favourites such as the SANDF displays and Drum Majorettes – It was literally minute by minute excitement from the moment the show opened until the final curtain call. The thrills and chills of the 125th celebration of Joburg’s most iconic day out may be over, but it is definitely not the end! This year over R 2 million in prizes and giveaways have been taken home by show visitors! We are also thrilled that our two supported charities – CHOC and the SABC Foundation were given over R 400 000 to keep doing their unbelievable work in our communities.

Some lucky show winners will be basking in the rosy afterglow for weeks to come, as this year, the amount of jaw-dropping competitions – as well as the out of this world prizes – were unprecedented in both value and experience offering. It is still hard to believe the number of trips, makeovers, cars, gaming devices, cash prizes and even more, available for visitors to win; just for simply visiting the show. Joburg’s Best Day Out has set a new standard of bigger, better and more sought-after competitions than ever before – the fun part? Giving it all away now!

To those lucky winners who showed off their unique skills at the show we say a massive congratulations – You were definitely in it, because the competition was tough – but you came out on top!
