Win a new kitchen and over R200 000 in furniture

Many of us spend hours flipping through the pages of our favourite Garden & Home magazine; mentally filing the stunning articles for inspiration when it comes to creating our very own extraordinary living spaces… BUT, it’s truly a rare treat when the pages of this gorgeous magazine not only come to life right in front of our eyes, but actually invite us to immerse ourselves deep into the heart of breath taking floral displays, magnificent show gardens and gorgeous home décor designs showcasing kitchens, bedrooms and living areas.

That’s right, the  Garden and Home Pavilion at this year’s Rand Show is guaranteed to be inspiring. With a major focus on emerging global lifestyle trends, guests will be treated to a veritable smorgasbord of design and décor ideas to inspire and delight, as well as inside tips and insights from some of South Africa’s leading décor diva’s and garden gurus.

A blooming highlight at the Pavilion will be a spectacular replica display of the SANBI 2019 Chelsea Flower show entry. The Chelsea Flower Show is the highlight of the international gardening calendar and showcases only the very best in horticultural talent. This stunning display will whet the appetite of any green fingered gardener who has aspirations of garden grandeur, and visitors to the display could win a trip to the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town.

If you are more of an interior décor doyen, get lost amongst some of the country’s top home décor and furniture exhibitors who will be showcasing their innovative and desirable products as well as kitchen designs, bedrooms, bathrooms and a DIY section. There is also an Easylife Kitchen home makeover competition, complete with an entirely custom designed kitchen that also comes with R 150 000 worth of furniture from Home Italia and a Mlily Manchester United bed. Will you be the lucky entrant?

The South African Garden and Home Pavilion will also play host to the prestigious Rand Show Gold Medal Competition for Best Show Garden, Best Boutique Garden and Best Floral Arrangement. These competitions are steeped in South African heritage and will be celebrated this year in colourful glory.

A new attraction to the Pavilion this year is the reality inspired cooking competition, the Jacaranda Clash of Ages where teams of budding chefs will show off their culinary chops in a live celebrity cook off with R 125 000 up for grabs!

With outdoor exhibits such as landscaping, flower gardens and an outdoor living display; and indoor attractions including Tile Africa Best of the Best, a Chefs Village and the South African Garden and Home Magazine Stand, you would be hard pressed to find more reasons to visit the South African Garden and Home Pavilion! But there is one more reason and it could be the most exciting yet – Every visitor to the Pavilion stands the chance to win a trip London to visit the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show!
